Greg Taylor: Personal Trainer & Reiki Healer

My name is Greg, and my journey towards health and well-being has been a deeply personal one. For years, I lived a sedentary lifestyle, working in a job that kept me glued to a desk and watching my health deteriorate. Over the span of a decade, I gained a significant amount of weight, and with it, my mental health suffered.

It wasn't until I reached a pivotal moment during a doctor's visit, where I was told that I needed to lose weight for the sake of my longevity, that I decided to make a change. I joined a gym and embarked on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Through dedication and perseverance, I shed 32 kilograms over the course of a year.

As I progressed on my fitness journey, I found joy in helping others achieve their goals at the gym. This newfound passion led me to pursue a career as a personal trainer, and I obtained a certificate in Exercise and Sports Science from UCOL. Over the years, I immersed myself in various fitness challenges and competitions, from half marathons to powerlifting events, finding fulfilment in pushing my physical boundaries.

I rekindled my love for the outdoors, particularly hiking up the mountain trails. However, as I entered a new phase of life, I realised the importance of adapting my training regimen to accommodate the changes in my body as I aged.

My journey towards holistic well-being took a significant turn when I made the decision to prioritize my mental health. After years of relying on antidepressants and sleeping pills, I embarked on a challenging journey to sobriety. This process not only led to newfound clarity but also initiated a spiritual awakening within me.

Seeking alternative forms of therapy, I discovered Integrative Therapy, a holistic approach combining various modalities such as Cranio Sacral Therapy, Reiki, Belief Enquiry, and Soul Coaching. Through this transformative journey, I found solace in practicing Reiki, integrating it seamlessly with my exercise routine to nurture both my physical and spiritual well-being.

Today, my mission is to share the profound benefits of combining exercise and Reiki with others, empowering them to embark on their own journey towards holistic wellness. Through my personal experiences and professional expertise, I strive to create a safe and supportive space for individuals to reconnect with their bodies, minds, and spirits, ultimately fostering a sense of tranquillity and vitality in their lives.
